I am strongly passionate about supporting your health using an all encompassing approach through exercise, nutrition, and recovery systems.
I have a particular love of Womens Health and hormones which developed out of navigating my own health journey with PCOS. At the time I found very little help, so spent hours and hours deep diving the research myself. Since them I have become so empowered through my knowledge and thrive to do the same for other women.
My vision is for every woman to be empowered by understanding her cycle and hormones, and for her to feel strong and confident AF in her body, in health, in fitness, and in life.
My favourite thing is to see how much a woman becomes confident and inspired through strength training.
National PCOS Speaker.
Currently on maternity leave. Returning 2026.
I am a mum to two girls, which drives my passion for all things women’s health. Having a daughter with a medical condition that is strongly dependent on exercise and diet to live out a healthy and long quality of life has encouraged me to put my skills to use where I can support Allied health professionals.
I have worked as a practice manager for the last 11 years within a GP clinic which has given me the skills and knowledge to be able to support health professionals to allow them to give the best quality of care to their
clients.
My family are active members within the Strathalbyn community. My husband Ben plays football for Strathalbyn football club, whilst both our daughters play netball for the Strathalbyn netball club where I also coach. We run a small family business, Simounds Roofing and enjoy our Sundays spent with family.
I love a chat, so please feel free to pop your head in to the office at any time!
My own experiences with health challenges inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare, with the goal of helping others navigate their own journeys with empathy and purpose. My goal as an Exercise Physiologist is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where each individual feels empowered to thrive in their own unique way.
I’ve lived in Strathalbyn my whole life and am proud to be actively involved in the local community, especially through the Strathalbyn netball and football clubs. I’ve always had a strong passion for sport—previously playing and coaching netball, as well as playing football for South Adelaide and Mount Barker.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me curled up with a good thriller or romance novel, working on my latest cross-stitch project, or spending time with my two labradors, Olive and Frankie.
Currently undertaking Graduate Certificate in Exercise Rehabilitation for Sports Injuries, and hope to do Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology in the near future.
From an early age, I developed a passion for netball and dance, which sparked my lasting appreciation for health, wellbeing, and exercise. This background inspired me to pursue a career focused on empowering others, particularly women, to feel their best and excel in their areas of interest. With a genuine passion for sports and movement, I’m eager to bring this enthusiasm into my professional journey.
I’m passionate about using evidence-based exercise interventions to assist with moving better, feeling better, and improving overall health and wellbeing.
In my downtime you might find me going for a nice beach walk, doing pilates, or finding the best local coffee shops (so please share your favourites with me)!
